About Eldora

  • Even as a little girl, I wanted to write. Aged eight, I was handing out handmade ‘save the planet’ newsletters & ten years later, they’d changed to farmer’s market newsletters, where my focus had gotten local, and I’d begun to run markets to promote local producers.

  • Meeting my hubby in school at aged eleven was a fairy tale in the making. We were engaged aged sixteen, married at eighteen, & were pregnant aged nineteen!

  • My twenties were full of market baking and house renovations. My thirties of meditation, women’s fire circles, and hands on healing.

  • Finally, we moved to our dream house - okay, a money pit doom of a ramshackle dream house, but still a dream house - and a couple of months after the boxes were clear, in 2024 I sat and wrote for a year straight, practically chaining myself to my laptop (seriously, it’s in a back pack and doesn’t leave my body).

  • I’m quirky, neurodivergent, and chock full of British eccentricity.
